Iran actress Behnoush Bakhtiyari joins the cast of ‘I’ll Stay with You’ directed by Mohammad Reza Yekani, prior to shooting the project.
The film is currently going through the pre-production and the shoot will begin next Friday, a recent media report said, adding the flick’s scenes will be shot in Tehran.
"Mahtab is a young woman who takes care of the expenses of her family. She happens to get to know a child from the street, named Ali,” a synopsis for the film teases.
Behnoush Bakhtiyari studied French Language Translation at Islamic Azad University, Iran. She also took a year-long course in Theater Arts at Rassam Honar School.
She initially worked as a script supervisor then became an actress.
Her debut TV series was ‘Fresh Air’ (1996), directed by Mohammad Rahmanian.
Bakhtiyari has taken parts in a great number of movies, including ‘Checkmate’ (2007), ‘Ten Figures’ (2008), ‘The Outcasts 3’ (2010), ‘Hectic Times’ (2011), 'The Carriage' (2013) and ‘Men are not angels’ (2014).
She has also appeared in TV series such as ‘Homeless’ (2004), ‘The Nights of Barareh’ (2005), ‘Checkered’ (2007), ‘The Rich and the Poor’ (2009), ‘Goodbye Child’ (2012), ‘Detour’ (2012), ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ (2014) and ‘Flower and Nightingale Neighborhood’ (2015).
Bakhtiyari was nominated for the Best actress in a Supporting Role award for her appearance in ‘I’ (2015) at the 34th edition of Fajr International Film Festival.
